The Health Club at Ballymeade: Fitness/Steam/Sauna/
The Health Club at Ballymeade Our Health Club is an intimate place to enjoy your workout while taking in the panoramic views of the golf course, tennis courts and swimming pool. Our Fitness Center, located in the Clubhouse at Ballymeade, is well-suited to a balanced program of cardiovascular exercise and resistence/strength training. The Fitness Center offers treadmills, stationary bikes, stair stepper and elliptical cardio machines. In addition you will find a complete compliment of strength training equipment, olympic bench press and free weights. The Fitness Center is conveniently located near the men’s and women's locker rooms which provide both steam and sauna. Health Club Season Passes Available! Rules & Regulations Check In Members and Health Club Season Pass holders must check in upon arrival. A waiver must be signed before utilizing the equipment. Dress Code Proper exercise dress includes shirts, gym shorts, leotards and/or warm up suits and athletic footwear. Men must wear shirts at all times when exercising. Tennis sneakers previously worn on har tru courts are not permitted (clay residue is known to promote problems with motorized exercise equipment). Age Limits Children 16 years of age or older may use the Health Club without adult supervision. Children ages 15 -13 may only use the Health Club when accompanied by an adult. Children under the age of 12 are not allowed in the Health Club at anytime. Operation of Equipment If you do not understand how to operate a particular machine, or piece of equipment, please consult a staff member. Please wipe down the equipment after use. Food and Drink With the exception of water, food and soft drinks are not allowed in the health club area. Emergency Procedures In the event of a medical emergency, please notify a staff member immediately. Guest Policy Members are allowed to bring guests to the health club. Guests must check-in and complete the appropriate forms. Guest fees will apply.
