Program Descriptions, Weekly Schedule and Monthly Events
Kids Programs (ask about our Junior Memberships)
Weekly Camps Monday – Thursday 9:30 to 11:30
Scooby Doo and Friends:
This program is designed for our younger players (ages 4 – 6). The focus is on having fun while developing basic tennis skills. Players will enjoy special appearances from Scooby Doo and other fun characters.
Beginner/intermediate:
This program is designed for the beginner / intermediate player players (ages 7 and up). The focus is on having fun while developing sound tennis mechanics and skills that will last a life time.
Advanced Training:
This program is designed for advanced level players seeking rigorous training. The intent is to prepare players to be successful in a competitive environment.
Junior Weekly Programs/Lessons
Little Rippers: Designed for children ages 4 - 6
Big Smashers: Designed for children ages 7 - 9
Juniors: Designed for adolescents ages 10 - up
Advanced Clinics: Mike Roberts will be taking his experience coaching the #1 boys program in the north shore and developing a program for the competitive Junior players. Stroke production, creative drilling, conditioning, and strategy will be some of the areas of focus.
Adult Clinic: This program is designed for new players as well as advanced tournament level players. Level 1 concentrates on learning strokes and setting a solid foundation. Level 2 concentrates on taking the basic foundations of striking a ball and incorporates competitive play. Level 3 concentrates taking competitive play to the next level by strengthening stroke production and improving strategy and fitness.
Kids and Parents: Why just sit and watch your kid’s tennis lesson? This is a great time for you to take a lesson of your own while your children are on another court.
Women’s Team: 2 hour team practice on Monday and optional Friday mornings and team matches with other clubs on Wednesday morning. Friday's sesson is complimentary for those Members that attend Monday session of the same week, either that regular charges apply.
Round Robin: Group play organized by the staff to insure a fun and competitive atmosphere.
Men’s and Women’s Open Play: Make a court time reservation.
Stroke of the week: The staff will take a stroke and concentrate of the fundamentals to ensure weaker strokes get stronger and do not break down under pressure.
*All lessons scheduled are based on ability. We will use 3 different courts and pros for the three different abilities described above. Please state your ability when enrolling in a class.
** All lesson participants have the option of staying after to hit or play on their own for ½ hr. (There is no additional charge for this)
